We will be leaving the UK in September 2007 on a year long Round the World trip with our 2 children who are 7 and 4 years old.

Our route is roughly: UK-India-China-Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand-Laos-Malaysia-Singapore-Australia-New Zealand-Cook Islands-US-Mexico-Belize-Guatemala-UK all which is of course subject to change at any time!

So in the spirit of 'making life happen' and other catchy phrases, we've started this blog which will (with the appropriate diligence and upkeep) be the 'trip journal' for all 4 of us to add to during the prep and on our trip. We promise NOT to turn it into a 'got up at 8am, had breakfast and then we caught the No.57 bus, and read 5 pages of my book...' type thing, but use it to keep us and the girls in contact with family and friends.

BTW you can subscribe to our blog so it will send you an email whenever we post anything, rather than checking every so often. (hopefully that won't be an irritating feature!)
